Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Area Schools will host a first of it’s kind graduation ceremony this Saturday, at 10am at the Dollar Bay Baseball Park.
What makes this graduation stand out, is seniors will be in golf carts, donated by the Calumet Golf Course.
Friends and family can park at Quincy’s Restaurant or on Main Street.
The ceremony will include speeches by the valedictorian and salutatorian, and will be live streamed on Dollar Bay High School’s Facebook page.
Local photographers Michelle Anderson and Kassy Kallio will take pictures, and share them for free, with graduates’ families.
The ceremony will then be led by a Dollar Bay fire truck, followed by the golf carts on a parade, which will take them back to the school building.
