Documentary Looks At Saving Our Snow

Will there be a time when there is no longer snow during the winter in the Copper Country?

A new documentary on climate change called Saving Snow: Protecting Our Winter Economy premieres Thursday at the Calumet Theater.

The movie features friends from the Birkie, and also Minnesota native Jessie Diggins, who just won the 1st US gold medal ever in cross-country skiing.

Attendance is free and there will be a discussion afterwards on concrete local actions to protect the area’s winters.

Showtime is at 7pm.
