DNR Approves Hancock Beach Dock Plans

Plans to construct a beach dock in Hancock are ready to move forward.

Hancock City Manager Glenn Anderson gave an update to the city council at their regular meeting Wednesday.

Anderson said the Michigan Department of Natural Resources recently approved the plans for the beach dock without having to make any changes.

Bids for the project are due by April 24th and the cost is estimated to be around $350,000.

The goal is to have the dock completed by the end of October.
