State Representative Scott Dianda is going to serve as the minority vice chairman of the House Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee.
Dianda said Upper Peninsula communities and small businesses rely heavily on tourism for their well-being, and bringing that perspective to the committee will be important to him.
He will also be continuing his service on the House Energy Committee to make sure that the unique energy needs of the U.P. are addressed.
Dianda will also serve on the House Regulatory Reform Committee.
