Dial Help, the Upper Peninsula’s only crisis center, is looking for volunteers.
The organization, originally founded in 1971, offers help in areas such as substance abuse prevention, and counseling, youth services, grant writing and also mans a crisis line, 24/7 365.
Volunteer Coordinator Paige Setter Hallwachs said “The great thing about volunteering at DialHelp is that there are a lot of different things you can do. And since COVID-19 began, we now have online training by Zoom to make things safer for our volunteers as they learn the ropes.”
