Day one of Governor Whitmer’s latest Executive Order “Stay Home Stay Safe.”
The latest executive order was issued yesterday, and went into effect just after midnight.
Michigan residents are advised to stay home, unless absolutely necessary.
Brief trips for essentials are allowed.
Healthcare facilities are still open, along with law enforcement, public safety and first responders.
Most city and county offices, while closed to the general public, remain staffed.
Child care facilities are open, only to take care of essential workers children.
You are also exempt from the Order, if you are a caregiver.
Workers for food banks and homeless shelters are also exempt.
Governor Whitmer’s full Order is available here.
