Curling Club Featured on Statewide TV Show

The Copper Country Curling Club earned “15 minutes of fame” last night, when it was featured on the popular PBS program Under the Radar Michigan.

Host Tom Daldin visited the Drill House Rink… [DALDIN A].

Daldin threw a few stones, and talked with club president Gary Lassila…

The club began in the winter of 1993. It’s out understanding that the building was built in 1885, and it was built by the C and H mining company to manufacture drill bits.

If you missed the broadcast last night on WNMU television, you can see the entire program here.
