Two projects recently completed by Copper Country ISD Career and Technical Education Construction Technology students are ready to be sold to the public,
Students built an 8’ x 20’ tiny house and an 8’ x 14’ sauna. During the process, they were exposed to many aspects of construction, including framing, siding, wiring, plumbing, and insulating.
Both units will be sold via sealed bids.
The cedar-sided tiny house includes a bathroom, sleeping loft, kitchen, and relaxing area. It’s built on a trailer frame, and is ready to hook up to 50 AMP electric service, water, and sewer. Bidding starts at $35,600.
The sauna features tongue and groove cedar paneling, and a changing room along with the sauna area. It does not include a sauna stove or insulated pipe, but is set up for easy installation.
Bids are due by 3:00 pm on June 29th. For more details about the buildings and the bid process, click here.
