CTE Students Fill Local Needs For CNA’s

During the last few years Copper Country ISD Superintendent George Stockero heard from the community that there are jobs waiting for students and young adults who have the right training.

One of the positions is for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s).

The Copper Country ISD provides a Career & Technical Education (CTE) class for CNA’s.

Lori Maki, the teacher for the CNA class was pleased to share with the public that five of her students have already been hired as CNA’s in our local community.

Lori Maki stated she was very proud off all the young ladies. They are all following their passion to work and help in their local communities. CNAs fill a vital role in our community and through our CTE class, we are helping to fill a need.
