Crafting Fundraiser For Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter

If you need a reason to enjoy a day of crafting, you have one.

Crafting for a Cause takes place this Saturday and benefits the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home.

It’s being held at the Siskiwit Reception Hall in Calumet from 10am-6pm.  This is the 2nd annual crafting event held in support of the shelter for victims of domestic violence.

It’s a day of Crafting for yourself or taking part in Demonstrations of crafts that you may want to learn how to do!

  • If you would like to reserve a table for yourself to craft at all day (10am to 6pm) either e-mail bkghome@pasty.com or call 337-5632. The fee is $20.00 and includes lunch
  • If you would like to come and take part in the Demos, you can attend anytime between 10am to 6pm. A donation of $10.00 is appreciated to attend and take part in all the Demos
  • If you have a craft that you would like to demonstrate, please contact Mary Niemela at the same information as above.
  • A children’s craft corner will be available between 11am and 1pm at no extra charge, so if you have your children with you while you are taking part in the Demos, your children can do a craft at the same time.
  • Food will be available from noon to 5pm, coffee and other refreshments will be available all day, no extra charge.
  • A craft item rummage table will be set up all day for you to look through and search for something you don’t have or need, but the price is right!!!
  • If you have craft items to donate to the table, please bring them to the Siskiwit the day of the event any time after 8:30am.
