In Copper Harbor, the Lake Fanny Hooedown Two will bring country stars Joe Nichols and Ricky Skaggs to the outdoor stage at the Lake Fanny Hooe Resort and Campground.
Nichols will perform tonight. His discography includes five number-one hits and 10 studio albums. His most recent single, “Good Day for Living,” is climbing the country charts.
Lead-up performers today include the On the Spot Blues Band at 5, and Chad Borgen and the Collective at 6:15. Nichols will take the stage at 8.
Skaggs will be tomorrow’s headliner. He logged 11 number-one country hits in the 1980s, before turning his attention toward his true musical love, bluegrass. He and his Kentucky Thunder band have won more awards than anyone can count.
