Coronavirus Gains Momentum

The Coronavirus situation, sadly is gaining momentum.

To date, confirmed cases in the U.S. have topped 1,200 with 37 deaths.

Michigan, has two known cases.

Michigan Tech, along with other schools throughout the country, are switching to online coursework, once students return from Spring Break.

President Trump has suspended travel from Europe, minus the UK, for the next 30 days, beginning this Friday.

NCAA Tournament Basketball games will be played without fans, and Italy has imposed travel restrictions and temporarily banned public gatherings throughout the entire country.

The CDC and other state and local public health agencies, are working around the clock to slow the spread of the virus, but so far, not much has worked.

Citizens are again reminded to wash hands frequently and stay home if you’re not feeling well.
