A Copper Harbor man has been arrested on domestic assault charges.
On January 3rd, the Keweenaw County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint from a woman who said she was beaten and assaulted with a knife by her boyfriend at their residence.
On Tuesday, deputies arrested 39-year-old Eric Lee Tulppo on a multi-count warrant.
Tulppo has been arraigned, and remains in jail in lieu of a $500,000 cash bond.
