Copper Country Wellness Fair This Saturday

More than two dozen vendors and organizations are coming together this Saturday for the Copper Country Wellness Fair. The event will be held at the Calumet High School from 10am to 2pm.

The expo brings together UP Health System—Portage, Aspirus Keweenaw, Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center, and a score of providers of goods and services.

Massage Therapist and owner of Encompass Therapeutic Massage Nikki L’Esperance is organizing the event. “It’s a great way for people to come in and get information and maybe learn about services and wellness providers they haven’t heard about in the community before and see how that could fit into their life and how they could use those services and providers,” she said.

Participants are welcome to come wander through and gather information, experience the various services, and enjoy the freebies and giveaways.

L’Esperance said, “I think there will be a lot per table.  I know, for myself, we’ll be doing a drawing for a free massage and there will be a basket of different things and I know that other vendors will be doing the same thing.”

The Copper Country Wellness Fair is free and open to the public. For more details, click here.
