Copper Country Shows Up To Support President Trump

Silent majority?

Not so fast.

An estimated 1,000 vehicles showed up to support President Trump yesterday.

Both parking lots at Michigan Tech’s Rozsa Center were full, and it took almost a half an hour for all the cars to get on the road.

Brain Bonnet brought out his semi and decorated it in Trump gear.

When asked why, he had this to say.

“I believe in the Constitution, and I believe Trump will defend our rights and Biden is going to take away some of our Constitutional rights.”

The parade even brought a former resident back home to show support, Lenore Rayborg.

“I came up for family, I’m from the area, but I live in Wisconsin now, so I heard about this through some family members and I wanted to show my support.”

Larry Makavitz had this to say.

“We’re here to support the president, who’s been mis-aligned since the day he was elected, and even before he was elected, and he’s been persecuted all these years and he has still done a fantastic job for this country.”

When asked if she was surprised by the turnout, organizer Naomi Luekuma said this.

“Nope. I had a feeling there would be a lot of people here ya know.” It’s why they call it the silent majority, but this is a prime example of the silent majority, standing up.”

Other than some traffic congestion and a handful of noise complaints, there were no problems.

Police Chief John Donnelly.

“There were people there that supported Trump and people on sides of the road that didn’t, but we were able to make it through.”

The event wrapped up with people having lunch at Chutes and Ladders.
