Copper Country Schools Work Out Logistics For Meals While Schools Are Closed

Houghton-Portage Township School District will continue providing breakfast and lunch for students, beginning Wednesday, March 18th.

Contact the school office at 906-369-0449, for instructions on how to take advantage of this.

The Baraga, L’Anse and CLK School Districts are working out the logistics for staffing, inventory and distribution, as the Summer Food Service Program, has extended its funding, during the state imposed school closures.

Other school districts are also working on logistics.

Chassell High School  and Lake Linden High were in meetings, coming up with a solution.

Once a solution is reached, we’ll have complete details on Keweenawreport.com
