The Copper Country Republican Party is hosting a debate between Houghton County Sheriff candidates challenger Steve Laux and incumbent Brian McLean on Tuesday, at 6pm, at the Hancock Beach Pavillion and you’re invited to see where they stand on issues, before the August 4th primary election.
Copper Country Republicsan Party Chair Brady Tervo said “Our party invites any and all to come to this informative outdoor event.”
Seating is limited, so it’s recommended you bring lawn chairs.
The primary election may decide the sheriff race, as there is no democrat on the November ballot.
