Copper Country ISD Students Win Big

 Copper Country ISD students were recently in Escanaba to compete in the regional Skills USA Automotive Competition, and they made Copper Country proud.

The event showcases  the best career and technical education services, from the U.P.

Nine students competed, taking 6 of the top 12 spots.

Winners included Zander Worm and Brannon Torola from Calumet, Coy Anderson from Hancock and Drake Clements from Dollar Bay.

Challenges included written tests and hands on experience. Every student who competed placed, has been invited to the State competition in Grand Rapids this Spring.
