A special meeting will be held this Saturday to interview the candidates for Hancock City Manager.
Current manager Glenn Anderson is retiring at the end of the year and has announced a run for Houghton County Commissioner.
The candidates for the position are Barry Givens, Jill Murr, Robert Widigan and Matt Wiitala.
A meet and greet for the candidates will be held at the Finnish American Heritage Center on Friday from 6:00-8:00pm so the public can meet the four candidates in a casual setting.
Comment cards will be available if you wish to share your thoughts with the City Council.
The interviews will be held in the City Council Chambers beginning at 9:00am Saturday and are open to the public.
