At a quiet CLK Board of Education meeting Tuesday night, board members took time to salute a long list of students, coaches and teachers who achieved honors this fall.
The group included the football team, which reached the regional championship game, and placed numerous players on all-star and all-academic rosters; the volleyball team, which produced a number of all-star and all-academic players; and a half-dozen musicians who performed with the All-U.P. Honors Band last Saturday in Marquette.
The board also thanked community members who helped remove snow from Agassiz Field for the Copper Kings’ football playoff games.

The board also accepted the resignation of Becky Michaelson as middle school volleyball coach, agreed to pay part of the costs of the junior varsity hockey team, and appointed Craig Ongie to a custodial position.
