Chair Lift Rides Begin This Weekend

If you want to see fall color in the U.P., Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park will offer its chairlift rides to see it, starting this weekend.

That’s park interpreter, Bob Wild, who says the Fall color is running a couple of weeks late in the western U.P. and he expects peak color will be the first two weeks of October.
