C&H Employee Records To Be Digitized

Michigan Tech is receiving nearly a quarter-million dollars to digitize the employee records of the Calumet and Hecla Mining Company.

The $240,014 grant comes from the Council on Library and Information Resources.

Tech Archives will digitize the records, add metadata so they can be searched, and integrate them into the Keweenaw Time Traveler online interactive historical atlas.
