The Copper Country Community Arts Council is accepting applications for local arts project mini-grants.
The funding from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs provides up to $4,000 for locally developed, high quality arts projects. The CCCAC coordinates the grants for Houghton, Baraga, Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Gogebic and Iron Counties.
The money must be matched dollar-for-dollar by the organization that’s applying, with either cash or in-kind donations.
The minigrants can be used by nonprofits for a wide variety of projects, including exhibits, performances, workshops, broadcasts, publications, festivals, and video and film productions.
Applications are due January 15. Supported projects must take place between March 1 and September 30, 2020.
