Caution Encouraged on Wet Snowmobile Trails

State officials are urging snowmobilers to watch for areas of water along trails.

The unusually warm January weather has caused low areas that are usually frozen by this time to remain wet and slushy. 

Trails across the U.P. are generally in good condition, but there are some problem areas.

Trail officials encourage riders to check local trail conditions online for the latest updates.

After a cooler day today, above-average temperatures are predicted to continue well into next week, with a chance of rain on Monday.
