Candidates Gather In The UP For Conservative Political Conference

Candidates from throughout the state will be taking part in the Upper Peninsula Conservative Political Action Conference of Michigan.

The event will be held June 8th and 9th at the Highland Golf Club in Escanaba.

The theme is “Our Constitution; Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”.

Participants include Congressman Jack Bergman, State Senator Tom Casperson and Republican candidate for State Representative Greg Markkanen, among many others.

The keynote speaker is retired Constitutional Attorney Publius Huldah, who will speak on Article V Convention, followed by retired Homeland Security Official Phil Haney, who wrote “See Something, Say Nothing”.

The event will include a meet and greet with the candidates for the state races to the governor’s seat and a rifle auction.
