Calumet Theatre to Elect Board Members

The Calumet Theatre board of directors is expected to get an infusion of new blood tonight.

A recent spate of resignations has prompted the Calumet Theatre Company to call a special meeting to fill the slots.

There is no shortage of candidates. The ballot includes David Crowley, Justin Cygan, Mark Dice, Jeff Harju, Penny Shute Menze, Jerry Mitchell, Joshua Mortti and Trisia Narhi.

Ballots were recently mailed to company members, giving them a chance to vote in advance if they wished. Advance ballots may still be turned in this afternoon at the box office.

Those who have not already voted are encouraged to attend tonight’s meeting at 5:30 at the theatre.
