A Calumet teenager could be facing charges in relation to an assault with a knife over the weekend.
The Houghton County Sherriff’s Office says they received a report of a woman having been stabbed around 4:45pm Saturday.
When deputies arrived at the scene on Park Avenue in the Village of Calumet, they found two juvenile females with two young children.
Officers say one of the juvenile females had a large laceration on her face. She was taken to Aspirus Keweenaw by Mercy Ambulance where she was treated for her injuries and released.
After the investigation, deputies arrested a 17-year-old female at a nearby residence.
No further details have been released at this time.
