Calumet, Laurium, Mohawk Area Water Cloudy, but Safe

We have received the following message from Upper Michigan Water Company:

Due to a leak in the system, customers are experiencing cloudy water. The leak has been located and isolated. The cloudiness in the water is due to air that was brought into the system. We are currently flushing hydrants in the system to release the air.

All system samples are clear of bacteria and contaminants. You DO NOT need to boil your water; it is safe for consumption, as system pressure was never lost.
