You’re invited to join Calumet’s Class of 2020 during their honorary parade, this Friday at 6pm.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school year was cut short, and all K-12 schools in Michigan were shut down in mid-March.
The parade is a great opportunity to come together and show our support, and wish the Class of 2020 nothing but the best in their future endeavors, said Amy Bennetts, CHS Senior Parent.
The parade starts at the Calumet Colosseum, proceeding down 5th street into downtown Calumet.
From there, the route turns, taking you past the football field, Garden View Assisted Living & Memory Care, Mine Street then down Calumet Avenue.
The route then turns onto Depot Street, taking you into Laurium.
You’ll then head down Hecla Street, into downtown Laurium, to Lake Linden Avenue, then head back to the Calumet Colosseum.
