If you have students at Calumet Elementary School, you’re invited to Agassiz Park today, so your kindergarten through 4th graders can wave goodbye to school staff for the Summer.
School staff will be at Agassiz Field on Elm Street from 5:15 til 5:30pm today, to wave goodbye to students.
It’s suggested parents head west, towards the Calumet Theater, so kids can be on the side of the staff, as you drive by.
Fifth graders and parents are invited at 5:50pm, for a farewell celebration that starts at 6pm.
Fifth graders can come say goodbye to teachers before they make the switch to middle school in the Fall.
There will be designated areas for each teacher in the bleachers, and students will be instructed to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Parents can watch from the football field, but please be aware that lawn chairs are not permitted on the field, and restrooms are not open at this time.
