There are two more reasons to motor over to Bridgefest this Saturday.
Keweenaw Chevrolet will be hosting Touch-a-Truck in Houghton while Keweenaw Buick GMC will present the Classic Car Show.
General Manager Brandon Schlief says there will be all kinds of trucks and more for the kids to enjoy. “We got a lot of local businesses bringing in equipment, we got Michigan Tech hockey coming, they’re bringing the Zamboni, we got a petting zoo, pony rides, and a lot of great stuff coming so it should be a really great time up there,” said Schlief.
Be sure to head over to the Hancock side of the canal to see a great lineup of classic cars or even enter your own. Schief said, “If you bring a car and register it, we’re going to give you a free t-shirt, we’re going to have brick oven pizza from Dave’s in Lake Linden, and then we also have the band Rewind from 11am-1pm, so it should be a good time over there, too. I’ve gotten a bunch of phone calls and messages on Facebook about that car show so it sounds like it’s going to be a really good turn out for that Classic Car Show.”
Both events are on Saturday from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
In the meantime, Keweenaw Chevrolet and Keweenaw Buick GMC have moved their stock of over 400 cars to the Copper Country Mall.
