The Portage Lake District Library and the Copper Country Great Start Collaborative invite children and their families to drop in for a Braille Story Walk.
The event will be held on Thursday, July 25, between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be a snack and craft in the library community room.
The Story Walk will begin on Huron St. in front of the Portage Lake District Library. From there participants will enjoy the story displayed page by page on stakes along the lake path.
Kids will continue reading the story as they walk along the canal. The story panels will be in both text and Braille.
