Bra Show Raises Money For Breast Cancer Research

Michigan Tech’s Society of Intellectual Sisters will host their annual Bra Show this weekend.

The event takes place at the Memorial Union Ballroom Saturday night from 6-9pm and features male models wearing bras designed by the campus community.

The theme for this year is “Dessert”.

President of the student organization SIS Terrianna Bradley says they host workshops prior to the event where the community creates the bras that are modeled during the show.  “So all the bras that are decorated during these bra show workshops are used in the show and we get male volunteers to actually model the bras and a lot of the student orgs already have volunteers that they use as male models,” said Bradley.

The entire event is done in good taste and good humor and is open to the public.

Proceeds from the show go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
