Boy Scout Popcorn Sale Underway

This year’s Boy Scout popcorn sale is underway.

The Hiawathaland District Boy Scout Popcorn sale will feature all of the varieties offered over the past several years, plus a couple of new options.

Of the total funds raised through popcorn sales, about 36 percent stays with the local troop and directly helps local scouts pay for scouting activities and events. Last year, troops across the Upper Peninsula brought in an average of $5,000 each, making their largest fundraiser.
