Body Of Woman Found In Menominee County River Identified

The identity of a woman’s body found in a river in Menominee Township is now known.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office said that the body was found around 11:00 Saturday.

The victim was identified as 46-year-old Tammy LaFramboise of South Dakota, who had been missing since March 1^st.

The Yankton County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve arrested 45-year-old Stephen Robert Falkenberg of Sioux Falls on a 2^nd Degree Murder charge.

He is being held in the Yankton County Jail.  No further information has been released at this time.
