The search for 25-year-old Raleigh Harrington from the St. Ignace area man is over.
The Michigan State Police say after an extensive search by land, air and water, the body of the missing man was found in a heavily wooded area of Mackinac County.
Although there is still an active investigation into his death, police say foul play is not suspected.
Harrington was reported missing by family members after his last known contact on March 16th.
The Michigan State Police would like to thank the U.S. Coast Guard, United States Air Force, Civil Air Patrol, Mackinac County Sheriff’s Department, St. Ignace Police Department, Sault Tribe Police Department, United States Border Patrol, St. Ignace Fire Department, Allied EMS, Mackinac County Victim Services Unit, numerous local businesses in the St. Ignace area and a multitude of volunteer civilian searchers for their assistance.
