The search for a missing Hancock man is over.
The body of 33-year-old Kenneth Ryan Clark was found Saturday in the Portage Canal.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says two people were walking along the trail on Lakeshore Drive near the Kestner Waterfront Park just before 2:00pm.
They noticed what appeared to be a body floating in the water between the city dock and the shore.
They then called 911 to report what they had found.
Clark was reported missing on January 13th after family members say he left the evening before without his wallet or phone.
Scent dogs followed his trail to the end of Dunstan Street and US-41, near the canal, but found no other sign of his whereabouts.
Further information is expected following the completion of the medical examiner’s report.
