The Keweenaw County Board of Commissioners is holding a special meeting tonight to discuss the future of the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge.
The meeting will be held at the Horizons School in Mohawk starting at 6pm.
At issue is the question of whether the Board should loan $200,000 to the Lodge to provide the cash needed to open the 2017 season, and what will happen to the Lodge if the money is not advanced.
Members of the public will be asked to share their opinions.
The Commission will vote on the proposal at this meeting.
Anyone interested in the issue is encouraged to attend.
