The BHK Foundation is accepting scholarship applications.
The $500 awards are available to area high school seniors who attended the BHK Child Development Board’s early childhood or school-age programs.
The scholarships may be used to cover any expenses related to post-secondary education, including tuition, housing, books, supplies, and other expenses at colleges, universities, and trade schools.
Scholarships will be awarded geographically, with at least one in the northern, central, and southern regions of BHK’s three-county service area. Various factors including a student’s school and community involvement, academics, family situation, financial need, and a written essay will be considered in making the awards.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 17. Information about the scholarships
and application forms are available from school counselors. You may also contact BHK directly.
