In the primary race for the 1st Congressional District, retired Lt. General Jack Bergman pulled off the upset over fellow Republicans Tom Casperson and Jason Allen.
According to the Secretary of State website, Bergman received almost 39 percent of the vote with Casperson pulling in less than 32 percent and Allen only 29 percent.
