Lots to report from Baraga County Schools.
The Baraga County School Board met Monday night, and Superintendent Rich Sarau reports that their elementary school has won a gold medal from the MTSS Association, for increasing their reading scores.
The middle and high school took the bronze for improvement in student behavior.
In this year’s HOSA Bowl, Holly Rogers took 2nd place in Health Services and Hailey Lamb and Riley Koski, took 3rd place in Forensic Science.
The board also welcomed new Band Teacher Catherine Nevala.
