The Copper Country’s only Christmas parade will be held this evening in L’Anse.
The parade along Main Street will kick off the Light Up Baraga County celebration. Lighted floats will line up along Division Street next to Meadowbrook Field, and will lead the parade.
Decorated big rigs will line up at the top of Main Street hill, and will follow the floats through town.
Main Street and Division will be closed as early as 4:00 as participants line up. A detour will be posted.
The parade will start at 5:00, and travel through downtown L’Anse. Afterward, Santa will visit the American Legion Hall, and all are invited to enjoy food, face painting, ornaments and cookie decorating.
