Baraga County Fair Schedule Released

The final schedule has been released for this weekend’s Baraga County Fair.

Preliminary activities begin Thursday evening, with the arrival and judging of small animals, and interviews with the queen candidates.

Friday activities begin in earnest at 3:00, when the food and craft vendors open for business. Bounce houses for the kids will open at 5:00. The Country Mudder begins at 6:00. The fair queen will be crowned at 6:30.

Saturday’s highlights include a pancake breakfast, the mud bog, chicken poop bingo, a magic show, and karaoke.

The fair concludes Sunday, with a French toast breakfast, a car show, a free ice cream social, and the off-road derby.

The fairgrounds are locate in Pelkie, three miles north of M-38.
