Bond for the man charged with causing two deaths in a car crash November 4th has been reduced.
Thirty-four-year-old Ryan Orzechowicz from Covington faces two counts of Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death, and two counts of Reckless Driving Causing Death. He could face up to 15 years in prison.
At his initial hearing November 7th, bail was set at $500,000. At that time, Orzechowicz waived the right to be represented by an attorney.
Friday, he was represented by attorney Samuel Bennett. Judge Nicholas Daavettila reduced the bail to $25,000. The preliminary examination has been pushed back to February 10th.
Jennifer Rajala of Covington and Lacey Rajala of Chassell were killed in the crash at the intersection of US-41 and the Chassell-Painesdale Road.
