Most candidates who wish to appear on the August 2nd primary election ballot need to file nominating petitions by 4:00 Tuesday.
The deadline applies to anyone seeking to run for a partisan office as a candidate representing a political party, and all those wishing to run for non-partisan offices.
Those wishing to run for partisan office, but who are not affiliated with a political party, have until July 21st to get on the November ballot.
Petitions must be submitted to your local county clerk.
