Attorney General Nessel Takes AG Scam Jam To State Website and Social Media

With consumer protection more important than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic, Attorney General Dana Nessel has announced a series of videos aimed at protecting consumers’ private information, which can be seen on the state’s website and social media platforms.

Originally meant as an opportunity to host multiple consumer protection events, AG Scam Jam as it’s now known, has transitioned into a digital format to ensure Michiganders can receive helpful information on how to protect their wallets, while they stay home to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Nessel stated “While unfortunately we cannot host events in person at this time, consumer protection information and education is still a priority to this office.” A link to the state website is here. Links to Attorney General Nessel’s social media platforms are here, here and here.
