One of the two suspects arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team earlier this week was arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Houghton County District Court.
52-year-old Anthony James Vancato of Atlantic Mine is charged with one count of possession of meth or ecstasy.
Vancato was arrested at a residence in Atlantic Mine on Monday.
UPSET detectives seized crystal meth and heroin during a bust of two residences.
Vancato is due back in court for a preliminary exam on September 21st.
The other suspect arrested by UPSET is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
