Aspirus Tree of Love Ceremony Canceled, but Memorials Still Possible

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to claim Copper Country holiday traditions.

This year’s Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital Auxiliary Tree of Love ceremony has been canceled.

The fundraiser and memorial will still take place, however.

Auxiliary President Mary Illenich says lights, bells, angels, or star ornaments can still be purchased in honor of loved ones.

Those who would like to participate can call Aspirus’ volunteer services at 906-337-6541 to receive a Tree of Love donation form in the mail.
