ONTONAGON – Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital is pleased to welcome Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Lauren Siren, to its excellent outpatient therapies team.
Siren specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. She works with patients of all ages, including those affected by stroke, head injuries, neurological disorders, and head and neck cancer. She also cares for children and adults experiencing difficulties with: articulation, fluency, voice, expressing or understanding language, feeding, swallowing, or social communication.
Siren earned her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University and completed specialty training in LSVT LOUD. LVST LOUD is an effective speech treatment for individuals with Parkinson disease and other neurological conditions.
Originally from Ontonagon, Siren is thrilled to be back in the Upper Peninsula providing speech therapy services for patients close to home.
