Aspirus is beginning to expand care services throughout their network, including procedures and specialty care, which was postponed, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The health system and it’s doctors are working hard to increase the number of appointments and procedures, in a safe, controlled manner, using CDC Guidelines.
Matthew Heywood, President/CEO of Aspirus said he was proud of the efforts his team has made to address the COVID-19 pandemic, while caring for patients experiencing a wide variety of health care needs.
Aspirus has taken steps to increase securing supplies as well as operational changes including expanding testing capabilities for COVID-19 and designating areas within clinics for providing primary and specialty care for patients, whether or not they show signs of COVID-19.
New safety measures include Visitor restrictions, patient, employee and provider screening and increased personal protective equipment usage.
